Invicta is a semi-dry sparkling gooseberry wine made from Danish gooseberries. In the Nordic climate, gooseberries have optimal conditions.
The temperature differences between the cool nights and the long bright days give the berries a long ripening time, which develops a fantastic aroma and a completely unique acid profile. The juice is fermented at a low temperature, after which the wine is fermented a second time in the bottle. Invicta has then aged in the bottle for a minimum of 48 months before it is disgorged.
Serve Invicta chilled and as a different and exquisite aperitif or as an accompaniment to fish, shellfish light meat and cheese.
